Started in 2018, for a fairly simple reason.
Sean started The Plan Company after a decade watching architects and engineers in London quote homeowners weeks late and three times more than necessary for routine residential work. A loft conversion isn't a research project. A rear extension isn't bespoke. The deliverables are well-known, the council's requirements are published, there's no reason the price should be a mystery.
So we standardised the deliverable, published the price, and hired engineers who can draw. Three packages, three numbers. The drawings are submittable to Building Control, the calcs are stamped by a chartered engineer, and the whole pack lands in a client portal you can actually use.
We're a small team. No call-centre, no account managers, no "we'll get a quote over to you by end of week". You speak to the person doing your drawings.
