Built for a fairly simple reason.
Sean started The Plan Company after a decade watching architects and designers in London quote homeowners weeks late and three times more than necessary for routine residential work. A loft conversion isn't a research project. A rear extension isn't bespoke. The deliverables are well-known, the council's requirements are published, there's no reason the price should be a mystery.
So we standardised the deliverable, published the price, and hired designers who can draw. Three packages, three numbers. The drawings are submittable to Building Control, the calcs are produced to Building Control standard, and the whole pack lands in a client portal you can actually use.
We're a small team. No call-centre, no account managers, no "we'll get a quote over to you by end of week". You speak to the person doing your drawings.
